awards@cropicon.comThe Crop Icon Awards, organized by Krishi Jagran, are part of India’s visionary mission to recognise 1000 crops by 2047. Starting in 2026 with 20 major crops, the movement expands each year to include foodgrains, pulses, oilseeds, horticulture, spices, commercial and indigenous crops. Each crop will have its own annual recognition ecosystem celebrating farmers, scientists, innovators, FPOs and institutions. By 2047, India will build the world’s largest crop-wise leadership archive. The awards will continue beyond 2047, preserving crop identity, knowledge and cultural value while inspiring young farmers, researchers and agri-entrepreneurs across the nation.
